It's in

black and white.
I had to look.
I had to read it.
I had to write it.
I had to sort it.

It took me all night.
There it is
in black and white.

It hardly hurt.
I knew it.
I had to see it
for myself.
I saw it.

Can't refute it.
Crystal clear
black and white.
No more gray.
Just the way
I thought it.

Can't sweet talk it away.
Can't erase.
Can't deny.
Black and white
does not lie.

I still have whys
about the lies.
They'll go away
no more gray.

Hip-hip hooray.

  1. Very nice. I am always on the lookout for quality poetry, and this most definitely fits that description. I like the bleakness of this piece, it really drives the point home, as does the rhyme. Not many people can do that, and do it well, so kudos!
